SUPERVISION

The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MoHSW), has developed and implemented Training Institution Information System (TIIS). To ensure sustainability and continuous usage of the system onsite supportive supervisions and follow-up visits were carried twice per year for each training institution by both the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and EnterSoft Systems Ltd. In each support visit users were assisted on different issues encountered during system use, data analysis and interpretation, fixing software problems, and any other arising issues. Moreover during Supervision visit, checklist were used to verify the utilization of TIIS at all sites.

The following activities are also carried out during onsite supportive supervision

  • To conduct computer and system troubleshooting, updates and onsite support for ensuring that the computers installed with TIIS are well functioning and virus free.
  • Data entry/updates, assessment of TIIS usage status, verification and validation of data entered in the system.
  • Onsite training and support of TIIS users on the new features of the system including introducing of new users to the system
  • Make data backup from old version of the system before installing new version of the system, installation of the new version of the system and restore data to the new system version
  • Support data entry for the new modules such as finance and updates of existing information e.g. employee and students’ information which change regularly.
  • Collecting users’ comments and problems, report writing, capture events and filling all the required forms.
  • To monitor and evaluate the progress of TIIS utilization using onsite supportive supervision checklist
